VMA 1400 Series

The Variable Air Volume (VAV) Modular Assembly (VMA) 1400 Series is a configurable, integrated module that includes a Variable Air Volume (VAV) controller, differential pressure sensor, and, with the exception of the VMA1430, an actuator. This VMA is a set of digital controls that is customizable. For rapid and accurate damper placement, the AP-VMA1420 features an integrated actuator with a stepper motor drive. Part number AP-VMA1420 was designed to have cooling capabilities, as well as reheating capabilities. For faster commissioning, the AP-VMA1420 variable air volume component has a fast response actuator that drives the damper from completely open to fully closed (90°) in 30 seconds. The VMA1420 and 1430 models can be used with parallel or series fan-powered boxes.
